Our Impact Model 

The Full Circle Impact Model is based on the belief that complex, systemic challenges can only be addressed through an integrated, participatory, and context-sensitive approach. It starts with a thorough analysis of the issue, always viewed within the broader dynamics of the system in which it exists. In this analysis, we address questions such as: Where are the biggest problems? What conflicts underlie them? What do we need to solve in any case? 
Where are the opportunities for cooperation with other parties? 
 
From this foundation, solutions are developed through an interactive, design-driven process, in close collaboration with stakeholders and with deep respect for the local or regional context. A key step in this process is the joint exploration of core questions and dilemma’s and to set priorities what is needed to come to viable solutions. 
 
The model encourages creative, out-of-the-box thinking, seeking ways to bridge conflicting interests where possible. This process is supported by a set of universal building blocks and action specific building blocks that can be flexibly adapted to local circumstances, ensuring solutions are both tailor-made and grounded in a shared framework. 
 
Wherever possible, solutions are visualised so stakeholders can reflect on them collectively. This helps create a shared understanding, avoids ambiguity, and prevents misunderstandings that could hinder progress. 
 
We already tested the methodology in practice, in the design of a sustainable, circular, and climate-adaptive floating food system (action point 3). We presented this concept for the time in November 2023 at VIV MEA/HortiAgri Next in Abu Dhabi, and later in March 2025 at VIV ASIA in Bangkok. 
 
At its core, the Full Circle Impact Model always begins with the specific realities of the local context. It places strong emphasis on strengthening livelihoods, empowering communities, and—above all—supporting the wellbeing and future opportunities of children.
